a new mission for Mary
As many of you know, we have been working very hard these last few years to help Mary. Help is a loaded word here, because of the uniqueness of her special needs it has been a rough and somewhat unfullfilling road. Throught many prayers, emotions and life reflection...we are ready to kick it into higher gear to get Mary that help that she so desperately needs in more than one way.
But we can't do it alone. We are planning on starting several new treatment plans for Mary...which involve the medical field, professional therapists and nutritionists, MRI's potentially, speech and occupational therapy, therapeutic horseback riding, recreational activites for sensory stimulation, IV chelation, blood and urine testing, life as a homeschooler and potentially visits to major universities in California and beyond.
The price for freedom for Mary won't come cheap. And before we go into thousands of dollars of debt :) :(, we thought we could try to raise those funds through friends, families and companies who want to be part of a noble and greater cause bigger than ourselves. If everybody we knew just donated $5, that could get us through at least a few things starting this summer. But I am willing to work for it too...inquire with Rachel about some things she'll do to earn the money! :)
